The following pictures were all taken by my homemade trail cameras during January. I didn't get any pictures of big bucks this time, but these shots were my favorite ones from the batch.
I've got plans to build a couple more of these cameras over the next few months. Stay tuned for more shots from the field.

Great Pics! What are you using for cameras?
Those are some pretty cool pictures. I didn't see anything wrong with the pic of that buck, it looked nice to me.
What a diverse group of critters you have there. Are bobcats common in your area?
Steve - The cameras I use in my homemade trail cameras are various Sony digital point & shoot cameras. I hack into them and hook them up to a motion sensor. Check out this post to see what the cameras look like - http://robshuntingjournal.blogspot.com/2009/11/another-camera-finished.html.
Rick - Your're right. That buck was a pretty nice one, and I hope I get a better look at him this next season. I think he might need another year or two to grow up.
kmurray - Bobcats are pretty common in our area. I get trail camera pictures of them on a regular basis, and we see them fairly often while we are hunting.
Awesome pics...and the best part is that it's a hack. Got to love the MacGuyver ingenuity.
Very nice pictures Rob...love the one of the doe close up trying to smell you out...and the nice buck! Look forward to seeing more of your pics soon. :)
PS: Saw a bobcat while on my stand one day and got a great pic of it and was published in our town paper. I'm proud of it.
